Deep inside the Human Furnace is still Cole Burns. His body may be a living inferno but his spirit is still very human. He is still devoted to his cause. As Scientist Cole Burns he did great things in science for his fellow man. Now with the great power he possesses as The Human Furnace, his burning desire to help his fellow man is going to be impossible to squelch.

Sebastian Drill made a fortune in banking. Sebastian is Rich Buckroll's mentor. He helped Rich come up with the initial money to star Heatco. That is something Sebastian will never let Rich forget. You can bet he has his greedy little fingers in every crooked deal Rich has ever made.
RICH BUCKROLL
Rich Buckroll is the founder of Heatco, the only heating company in Neutral City. Heatco has no competition, and that's how Rich Buckroll likes it. He was an orphan who started from the bottom, selling heaters door to door. Now he is the richest man in Neutral City. Rich has a fascination for buffalo hunting and duck cuisine.

Brash and always busy, Teresa Totoro used to be science partners with Cole Burns. That was until things began heating up between them. She suspects that her ex-flame Cole has turned into the Human Furnace and is determined to track him down, for scientific reasons.
