Superhero
Foods Not Always Super Nutritious
Set
foot into any supermarket or drugstore, and there is a chance
you might find food products with some of your favorite superheroes
gracing their boxes. But just because Spiderman, the Hulk or
Batman is endorsing the product doesn't always mean they are
super healthy and will pack on quality muscle.
Before
gorging on Green Arrow Sour Apple Gumballs or Spawn Spaghetti,
always read the nutrition facts on the side of the box. While
reading Superhero comic books may feed the mind, superhero food
products high in fat, carbohydrates and sugar should be avoided.
Processed
foods are not the most nutritionally sound and should only be
eaten every once in a while. Natural foods like fruits, vegetables
and foods high in protein are what will build a strong and heroic
body. |

Spider-man knows you have to eat a healthy breakfast
to start the day. Breakfast is the most important meal
you're going to eat all day, so you'd better make it
count.
A
well balanced breakfast should include all the essential
vitamins and minerals. Stay away from sugars. Sugar
may appear to give you energy for a short time, but
it will also make you slow down fast. Fruits and grains
give you the proper energy to sustain you till lunch
time. But don't eat too much; that will slow you down,
too. |

Every
hero knows in order to operate at your finest, you've
got to fuel your body correctly. As the saying goes,
you are what you eat. Feed your body like a Superhero,
and you will perform like one. |
