ROSENBAUM RETURNS TO SMALLVILLE
Michael Rosenbaum played a major role in helping Smallville become the longest running Superman related series of all time. His masterful depiction of Lex Luthor gave many viewers chills and kept them on the edge of their seats. Many fans were devastated when he left the show in 2008.
Their prayers were answered when the WB recently announced that Rosenbaum would reprise his role as Lex Luthor in the series finale of Smallville on Friday, May 13, 2011.
Rosenbaum said he was "delighted" to return for the series finale. "I'm simply doing it for all of the fans out there who made Smallville the great success it is," he said. "I appreciate all of their passion, their relentlessness and even their threats. Ha ha."

GREEN LANTERN THRILL RIDE
Green Lantern fans will now able to soar like their greatest Hero. Six Flags Magic Mountain has added an exciting new thrill ride: Green Lantern: First Flight.
Fearless riders will brave the ride sitting in eight-person vehicles — four abreast and back-to-back each rotating independently. The two minute thrill begins with riders going up the 107-foot left hill before spinning their way down through 828-feet of twisted vertical track, featuring three, 360-degree head-over-hill spins.
A Green Lantern must be someone who has the fortitude and willpower to overcome great fear. Do you have what it takes? It is still unclear if riders will be provided with Power Rings.

TORCH... OUT!
There was long talk about which member of the Fantastic Four would die. Fans waited patiently to see which of the famed freedom fighters would meet their at least "temporary" doom. It would be The Human Torch aka Johnny Storm!
Marvel may be trying to keep the Torch at a low flame being that Chris Evans who played The Human Torch in two Fantastic Four Movies is about to portray the mighty Captain America in Marvel's upcoming film.
No current plans of a replacement but there are rumors of a clone.... Reed.

WONDER WOMAN ON TV
Wonder Woman is coming back to Television. A successful TV series in the seventies, studios have been trying to put a movie together for years with stars such as Sandra Bullock, Megan Fox and Beyonce. However a solid script was never found.
Perhaps they are coming to the conclusion, what has worked before could work again.
David E. Kelley, Ally McBeal creator, will produce. The story will take place in California in modern time.
Kelley is also responsible for creating the dancing twins played by HeroicWorld's own Eric and Steve Cohen of The Flying Cohen Bros. TV Guide called the dancing twins "One of the top ten reasons to watch Alley McBeal".

STAGED HEROICS
Superheroes have succeeded in nearly every medium. However, when it comes to the Broadway stage, they don't always hit their mark. The main obstacle producers face is that kids and teens who look up to superheroes don't necessarily want to see their favorite iconic tough guy bursting into song after pulverizing Lex Luthor or smashing the Green Goblin.
Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark hits the Broadway stage on February 7th. It is the most ambitious stage production ever with a budget of $65 million. Sadly, this production has received more attention for its accidents rather than its action.
Having not yet opened, four performers have already been injured. That, however, won't stop the Web Slinger's stage debut which boasts high wire stunts reaching 40 miles an hour.
Very rarely have superheroes made it to the Broadway stage. Superman had a short run with It's a Bird, It's a Plane! It's Superman! starring Bob Holiday and Linda Lavin during the Batman explosion in the late Sixties. There was talk that a Batman Musical was being planned, but it mysteriously vanished shortly after the movie Batman and Robin failed to live up to expectations.
Not only will Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark have the challenge of fanboys cringing as dancers leap over garbage cans while their hero gets his powers, the show will also need to sell out every performance for years in order to break even. Sounds like an up-the-wall climb!
