THE HUMAN FURNACE

Scientist Cole Burns discovered a heating source that would burn forever and cost almost nothing. Heatco a conglomerate heating company heard of his plan. They planned to steal the formula and control the heating industry. Rather than give up his life's work, Cole swallowed the only prototype. He became a living inferno, burning everything in site. He encased himself in a steel shell and began a war on big business as The Human Furnace.

THE WAVE

Rowdy Highwater was one of the greatest surfing champs that ever lived, until he surfed into a mist of toxic chemicals, transforming his body into a jello like substance that can glide along water. Disqualified from the sport because of his new advantage, he became the hippest and slipperiest detective on the coast. Now everybody is trying to catch onto The Wave.

PLATINUM GLOSS

Architect Gloria Glancer never believed in magic until the day she found out the development company she worked for was forcing a group of gypsies off their land. When Gloria tried to stop her superiors, they took her life. In honor of her fight for them, the gypsies buried Gloria with their oldest crystal ball. Not only did it bring her back to life, it gave her incredible powers. Now she can command the ball mentally use it to help her fly and change the cover of a landscape by looking through it. As Platinum Gloss, she plans to use her magic powers to help all humanity.

SOCIETY'S SUN

Max Tanner invented a tanning bed that gave you a tan in only five minutes and he became society's favorite son. A nasty scandal stopped his career short and he soon became public enemy #1. He tried to take his own life by spending all day in an untested tanning bed, instead of dying he was given super powers. Now he must try to regain his position in high society as Society's Sun.

ADAM THE TEENAGE ALIEN

A team of extraterrestrials visiting earth, accidentally left baby Adam behind. He was found by a typical suburban family picnicking. They concealed his identity by giving him a mask and gloves and telling people he was a burn victim. You thought starting high school was difficult for a normal kid, Adam the Teenage Alien is about to discover the differences between him and an entire world.

THE FLYING COHEN BROTHERS

Eddie Juggles had the top-rated juggling show in the world. That was until The Flying Cohen Brothers hit the scene. Now, Eddie wants revenge, not only on them but the audience that betrayed him. The Flying Cohen Brothers must now use their tremendous juggling skills to stop him.

MALTMAN

From a not so distant future where shakes have completely replaced the malt, Chester Johnson, great grandson of the man who invented the malt, created Maltman, half man, half machine. Chester sent him into the past to change the future of the malt.

BARRICADE

John Block couldn't get his protection agency off the ground until the day he found a crashed Neptunian Spaceship. He nursed the giant he calls Obstruct back to health and with his girlfriend Anne Fortify, they formed Barricade, the greatest protection Agency in the universe.

DISARM

Guns destroyed Wes Williams life when a drive by shooting hit the wrong house and left him an orphan. His prayers were answered when an alien genie gave him a blaster that disintegrates metal and the body of a 25 year old athlete. Now Disarm is on a crusade to rid the world of man's deadliest creation.

THE CLOUD

Con man Austin Storms took his own life after losing everything he had spent his life swindling from others. But after being judged in heaven, he didn't like where he was going. On his way down he stole the form of The Cloud and remained on earth to right the wrongs he caused and guide those in need toward righteousness.

COMB-MAN-ATION

Chester Turner was the greatest safe cracker the FBI had, that was until he opened up the wrong safe. It was attached to a bomb which went off in his face. The doctors were unable to separate man from safe without killing him. Jack became Comb-Man-Ation, a living walking safe. Now he protects the valuables for the world's richest and elite.

THE FATHER OF TIME

Is this a Hell's Angel with amnesia or The Father of Time himself? He doesn't even know. All he does know is that he's got a gavel full of sand that foresees possible future disasters and a motorcycle that never needs gas that gets him there just in time to stop disasters from happening.

SHARPMAN

Frustrated by the current educational system, librarian Justin Wise spent years creating a new system. When the school board refused to listen, Justin created Sharpman, The Most Intelligent Man in the Universe, to change their minds. Sharpman became an instant icon with the public. Now he must live up to his character's overblown reputation or risk losing the people's faith in the power of the mind.

THE EARTH AVENGER

The Top Scientists on Neuth, a perfectly ecological planet have predicted an environmental doomsday for the planet Earth. Garth Davenger is Neuth's most outspoken rebel, and the only Neuthling to grow up watching Earth TV. Garth disagrees with the Safety Council's policy of not interfering with interplanetary affairs. As The Earth Avenger, he embarks on a dangerous mission to Earth to teach the people how to treat their planet.
